The Farmhouse
In 1959 Lloyd & Gwen Duff turned a family chicken farm into Holiday Hill – Eastern Connecticut’s destination for healthy families and outdoor fun. They raised their family in original farmhouse, which now adjoins our camp office.
Today, it’s been restored and updated into a 3-bedroom fully furnished luxury short-term rental. When the property is not in use by campers or events, the public is welcome to book the house though Airbnb.
Camping at Holiday Hill
For the more adventurous fun-seeker we offer 4-season camping opportunities through Hipcamp.com. Currently we have 2 sites and are in the process of developing a few more while still allowing enough space for a sense of privacy and exclusivity. Campers are welcome to make use of most of our outdoor facilities, and enjoy a wide range of recreation opportunities in the neighboring forest and State Park.
